Our Client in a foreign MNC in the Chemical and Gas industry

Reporting Line: Global Helium Logistics Manager, APAC

Purpose of position:

  • Plans, communicates and coordinates with   the  local agent  of our logistics partner and the company’s representative in Vladivostok all gas container shipments  for filling at local agent.
  • Is the  point of contact for local agent in all operational matters as set forth in the Implementation Procedures between company  and local agent.
  • Administers the logistics, documentation and other transactional matters with the Back to Back Amur customers to include export/import documentation, invoices, forecasts, etc.
  • Develops and executes delivery of full containers from Amur to  customers and the return of empty containers to fulfil ToP obligations with agent.
  • Provides support and back-up for the Logistics Manager APAC.


Principal responsibilities:

  • Planning all empty containers for filling at Agent.
  • Planning all containers for filling at Agent with the Back to Back customers.
  • Receiving inventory for all containers received by Agent.
  • Liaising with  technical team in case of technical container problems.
  • Planning and coordinating with the  representative in Vladivostok and the local agent all container movements.
  • Ensures all Import / Export activities run smoothly by securing all required certifications.
  • Verification of Agent’s monthly invoice for payment processing.
  • Verification and approval of invoices from our logistics partner for the local activities.
  • On-going analysis of product availability from Agent and coordination with the Logistics Manager APAC of the supply of Gazprom product into the APAC supply chain.
  • Maintains the Implementation procedures with Agent.
  • Receives gases from Agent in SAP.
  • SAP monthly inventory reconciliation for all product sourced from Agent.


Position Requirements & Education Qualifications:

  • Excellent oral & written communication skills in English, in Russian would be a plus
  • Experienced in working with MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Strong influencing skills to work with shipping and transport companies
  • Ability to communicate fair and firm with customers
  • Knowledge in all aspects of Ocean Shipping, preferred for Dangerous Goods
  • Knowledge in SAP preferred
  • Bachelor in Supply – Chain / Logistics / Business
  • 3-5+ years’ experience  in logistics / supply  chain (preferred  Ocean traffic) / large international company (preferred chemical)
